This system was developed as an extension of Adobe Postscript. It is possible to prepare a document in this format, which can be used in offset printing. The great advantage of this system is that the document can be reviewed before printing in an unchanged format and any defects can be detected. The customer using a free browser on their computer can also view the document in this form.
This system is now becoming very popular and has the support of many graphics programmes such as Illustrator, Corel Draw. For printing, it is recommended to prepare a PDF file from a PS file using Acrobat Distiler.
