PUNCH, CREASING, PERFORATION
- Whenever a project includes a punch, it should be applied to graphics as an outline (never as an object) in the topmost layer in pantone colors with 100% intensity (different than the mask for selective varnish, if also present), with the option of printing allowed.
- The punch should contain cutting, creasing and perforation lines, each in a different color.
- For digital printing order files, punch lines must be on separate pages in the file.
- In case of punch orders, graphics extending beyond the area of the punch, at its breakdown line, within the bleed area, should be applied at even angles.
- Creasing marks may occur in the form of tags if they are not part of the punch (just as format lines, they are to begin outside the bleed, please do not put crease lines as an additional color in the graphic).
